How to use:
1. Download the PDF in your browser or on a computer, then choose the A4 or US Letter file.
2. Read pages 2-4 for the print list and timeline, and check the answer key (pages 23-24).
3. Print at 100% / Actual size. Use thicker card for the cipher wheel (page 12) and the Moon Key (page 17). The puzzles work in black and white too.
4. Cut out the cipher wheel and join the discs with a paper fastener. Ask an adult to cut the 10 windows in the Moon Key. Fill a small box with treats and stick on the label.
5. Split the children into teams, read the mission briefing aloud and hand out the team packs. Use the hint tokens and cards for any team that gets stuck.
6. Check each team's password. The Bat Guard (you) hands over the grid and the Moon Key. The team reads the message, opens the chest and collects certificates.
